As an element, water is extremely strong. In large quantities it can both be very destructive, but at the same time very helpful if utilized properly. In small quantities, water can act as a source for life, but at the same time corrosive and penetrating. It’s the balance and mingling of the element that controls the outcome of the consequence. But where lies the influence? Can a water molecule change its own structure or are WE the ones trying to encapsulate and manipulate it?

Contained Element tries to question this, through its shape and light movement. Is the sculpture a self-proven being, or just a manipulated creation?
